According to Studies global warming increased rapidly since the begging of the industrial revolution when massive factories started to form and produce pollution. This mass production factories are sustain by the people who consume their products and that's where responsible consumerism and sustainability comes to place. If the demand for goods lowers green house gasses, energy waste, rubbish production lowers as well.
